促卵泡激素β亚基英语:Follitropin subunit betafollicle-stimulating hormone beta subunit 缩写FSH-B)是一种由人类基因FSHB 编码的蛋白质[1][2][3] 。其RNA选择性剪接可形成该蛋白的两种蛋白异型体。

功能

垂体糖蛋白激素家族包括促卵泡激素黄体生成素人绒毛膜促性腺激素促甲状腺激素,所有这些糖蛋白激素都包括一个共同的α亚基和一个特异的β亚基FSHB 基因编码的就是促卵泡激素的β亚基。 In conjunction with luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone induces egg and sperm production.[3]
